Adirondack Outdoorsman Show set for Johnstown

The 2024 Adirondack Outdoorsman Show will take place at the Johnstown Moose Club (109 South Comrie Ave/Rte 30A Johnstown) on Saturday February 24th (10am-6pm) & Sunday February 25th (10am-5pm).

The show will be geared towards the tastes of Hunters, Fishermen and Outdoors Enthusiasts, with exhibits containing items for sale pertaining to: hunting & fishing gear/supplies, guns, archery, trapping, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, guides & charter services, taxidermy, custom ADK clothing designs and antique hunting & fishing gear.

“Featured Guests” will include Devin Gee, Bob Kazmierski and Dan Ladd. Gee is a four time New York State and Connecticut Turkey Calling Champion and founder of Gee Custom Calls. He will have all of his turkey, fowl and deer calls on hand for sale and doing seminars on how to properly use them. Kazmierski is the founder of the National Wildlife Sports & Educational Museum. He will be on hand with a display of some of the record Whitetail Deer from his museum and have lots of unique outdoor items for sale to support the museum. Ladd is the editor of the New York Outdoor News and author of a deer hunting book called “Adirondack Outdoors” and a second work called ”Well Seasoned in the Adirondacks: People, Places, and Outdoor Pastimes of Northern New York.” He will be on hand throughout the event at the New York Outdoor News booth, talking about any NYS outdoors related topic you would like to discuss. He will also have copies of his “Well Seasoned In The Adirondacks” book available for signing.

Door prizes of gear and equipment will be given away throughout the weekend. Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $1 for Children (under 16).
