4th Annual Adirondack Outdoorsman Show set for Johnstown
(Gloversville NY) - Twin Cities Sports Promotions announces plans
for the 4th Annual Adirondack Outdoorsman Show, to take place
at the Johnstown Moose Club on Saturday February 14th (10am-8pm) & Sunday
February 15th (9am-6pm). The hall is located at 109 South Comrie
Avenue / Route 30A North in Johnstown.
The show will be geared towards the tastes of Hunters, Fisherman
and Outdoors Enthusiasts. 60 Exhibits containing items for sale
pertaining to: hunting & fishing gear/supplies, guns, archery,
trapping, boating, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, guides & charter
services, taxidermy, snowmobiling, 4-Wheeling, collectable knives,
antique hunting & fishing gear, wildlife art & books
and Adirondack Furniture.
In addition, many featured guests and industry experts are scheduled
to be on hand throughout the weekend. They include:
Featured Guest #1; Experience "The Legend of Peter Dubuc
and the World Record Northern Pike." Meet Gail Freeman, the
daughter of legendary angler Peter Dubuc, who caught the World
Record Northern Pike on the Great Sacandaga Lake in 1940. See Dubuc's
scrapbooks and the "Plug" he caught the fish on, as well
as a replica mount of the Record Pike (courtesy of New York Outdoor
News).
Featured Guest #2; Book signing by Hunting Author Dr. Randall
Gilbert; who returns with his two newest works "Whitetail
Woods" and "The Deer Hunter Footstool/Camp Book."
Featured Guest #3; Meet the Editor of New York Outdoor News Steve
Piatt.
Featured Guest #4: Book signing by Adirondack Author/Guide/Historian
Don Williams, who will have all of his life's works on hand.
Featured Guest #5: Meet Amsterdam Recorder "Outdoor Columnist" and
newly elected NYS Outdoorsmen HOF member Ron Kolodziej.
Featured Guest #6: Meet The Daily Gazette "Outdoor Columnist" Ed
Noonan.
Featured Guest #7: See a display of Record Deer Mounts by The
Wildlife Sports & Educational Museum. Museum founder Bob Kazmierski
will be on hand to answer questions about the museum.
Door prizes of gear and equipment will be given away throughout
the weekend. Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $1 for
